No Exit
A Different kind of Hell
Hannah first met Carrieanne through Leeds Arts Centre. Hannah began assisting in rehearsals and tech, working 1:1 with actors, running workshops and providing feedback. The pair instantly worked well together, and have since continued to collaborate.
The Show
Jean-Paul Sartre’s existential masterpiece No Exit follows the fates of three damned souls who find themselves beyond death in a drawing room. They have been carefully selected and abandoned with each other so as to produce a cruel and personalised afterlife situation. They facilitate their own Hell as they play out fraught interactions of denial, struggle for autonomy, penance, and the desire for escape. For them. For eternity.

Reviews
“It’s an intensive 1hr 45 running time without interval and thankfully, both direction from Vivianette and performances from the cast make the piece somewhere between engaging and fascinating throughout.”

“I absolutely loved it! I think it's the first amateur performance (adults that is) that I have been to and was genuinely impressed. I didn't really know what to expect but I don't think I expected to come out so blown away!”
